Roadmap to Road Safety 2020

FIA Eurocouncil has released the Roadmap to Road Safety 2020. This strategy paper presents the European motoring and touring clubs’ common vision of road safety action for the next decade.

FIA Clubs’ engagement is rooted in their commitment to improve road safety in their countries – as demonstrated by their massive support to the European Road Safety Charter. They play a crucial role in informing, educating and raising citizens’ awareness about the risks linked to traffic – whether as drivers, passengers, cyclists or pedestrians. Through concrete benchmarking projects and alliances, our members define and advocate for the ever more stringent safety standards we believe consumers deserve. All of these initiatives support mobile consumers’ rights to enhanced road safety.
